Membership Join the Latinos and Planning Division!
Anyone interested in cities and issues affecting Latino communities can join the Latinos and Planning (LAP) Division by becoming a member. You can join LAP when you renew your APA membership—starting in 2025, APA allows members to join one Division for free.
To better support LAP, we encourage you to select LAP as your second Division choice, so your $25 Division dues directly support LAP programs and initiatives such as Plan Dulce, LUGARES, student scholarships, and more.
Division Dues:

· Non-APA members - $40
· Students - Free!
Chair's Welcome
Hello everyone! My name is Marco Hinojosa, and I’m honored to serve as the LAP Chair for the 2026–2027 term. I’m truly grateful to have you as part of our Division and excited for the work we’ll do together over the next two years.
Whether you’re brand new to LAP or a long-time member, I invite you to stay engaged by joining our monthly membership calls, held at 11:00 a.m. Central on the second Friday of every month. These calls are a great space to connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and stay plugged into everything happening within LAP.
Our Division is more than a professional network, we are a familia. We’re here to support you not only in your professional journey, but also as whole people navigating this field together. We would love the opportunity to get to know you, hear your perspectives, and support you in whatever ways we can.
